Bio
Mohammad Morovati earned his BS.c in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology before switching to economics for his higher education. He earned his PhD from University of Texas at Austin in 2013 working on Energy Economics and Finance. He then joined Stanford University as a research fellow where he worked for 3 years. He has been one of the founding members of Tehran Institute for Advanced Studies and has served as its Acting Managing Director since 2017.
