Overview
After gaining acceptable results in holding a Special MSc Program in Economics, in line with its policy and vision for continuous growth and development, TeIAS has been planning to add a new program to its successful academic portfolio.
Subsequent to a thorough study of various academic disciplines, both internationally and domestically, TeIAS noticed the necessity for a higher education Data Science program which, despite being one of the most necessary, popular, and influential fields of study and industry worldwide especially in the 21st century, was not offered by any academic institution in Iran.
After proposing the establishment of this program to the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and convincing the decision-makers of the importance and practicability of this field, the Master’s Program in Data Science was officially added to the programs offered by TeIAS.
As an official announcement of this program, TeIAS has organized a hybrid Introduction Event on Saturday, 8th May 2021 to give prospective students an insight into various aspects of this program such as the faculty members, facilities provided for students, and the potential opportunities afforded to them.
